What a great day in the markets! ProphetAlerts.com subscribers took home some nice trading profits on a killer day!
We saw plenty of trading opportunities today, and I took profit on 4 different trades totaling over 29% in gains with only 4 trades in less than a 24 hour period!
The alerts were as follows:
1) Yesterday, September 7th I sent the alert that I shorted 3,000 shares of PSTR (PostRock Energy Corporation) at $4.00 per share. Today, I shorted 2,000 more shares of PSTR at an average price of $3.82 per share, giving me a total position size of 5,000 shares. I covered all of these shares at $3.68/share, meaning my first 3,000 shares gave me a total profit of 8% and my second short of 2,000 shares were a gain of 3.66% for a total dollar profit of $1,600.00
2) Today I issued an alert that I shorted 2,000 shares of AAU (Almaden Minerals, Ltd.) at $2.82 per share. I then covered intraday at $2.56 per share, for a gain of 9.22%, or $520.00, in a very small amount of time today.
3) Today I issued an alert that I purchased 10 AAPL October $240 puts @ $2.25 per contract. Less than 30 minutes later, I closed this position at $2.44 for a gain of 8.44%, or $190.00
Total percentage gain on today’s realized trades is 29.32% or $2,310.00 in less than 24 hours.
